Te Puna Tahua Toa (TPTT) is proud to offer its members annual admission to the Harvard Executive Program, a bespoke, one-week executive training initiative hosted at Harvard University. This programme was originally established for First Nations leaders of Canada and the USA and now extends to Māori through the strength of international indigenous partnerships.
Through the enduring mana of these relationships, TPTT receives a small allocation of seats each year from the AFOA of Canada and Harvard University. This enables Māori executives to stand alongside global indigenous leaders, deepening their skills in accounting, finance, business, and investment while anchoring their practice in Te Ao Māori.
2026 Dates: 04 – 08 May 2026
The program is run at the Harvard Business School (over 5 days) in Boston, USA.
The five days combines several business concepts and Harvard business papers into an indigenous focused executive education program.
You will be fully emersed into the Harvard Business school with many other executives and business leaders from First Nation Communities from Canada and the US.
There is preparation required with case studies, model considerations, and self-reflection which participants need to complete.
The program cost is heavily subsidised by Harvard and AFOA to support participants from Aotearoa. This cost in 2026 will be no less than CAD$4,950.
Participants must be able to pay for their own travel, accommodation, and amenities to arrive and return from Harvard. While attending the program the Harvard fee covers food and accommodation.
